Siegfried Welcomes New Team Leaders

A Siegfried Team Leader supports a group of Professionals in his or her Market, helping them clarify their goals, and confirming that these goals are aligned with Siegfried's higher purpose of helping People transform themselves into better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives. Team Leaders demonstrate how Siegfried helps its Professionals achieve their bigger future, as well as their personal and professional success.

Siegfried congratulates the following professionals on their new role:

Sabrina Algoo, CPA, Manager – Philadelphia Metro
Algoo joined the Firm in 2016 after gaining experience as a Real Estate Accountant at Liberty Property Trust and before that, at KPMG. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

She leads by example to maintain a positive work environment and takes an interest in inspiring those around her to accomplish their goals. "I'm passionate about building genuine relationships where I can help others grow personally and professionally. Being a Team Leader is an excellent avenue to be able to do that," she said.

When Algoo isn't catching up with her family and friends, who are scattered throughout Pennsylvania and New York, she loves to salsa dance, try different workout classes, and travel.   

Laura Cronin, CPA, Senior Associate – Philadelphia Metro
Cronin joined Siegfried in 2015 after serving as a Senior Auditor at Grant Thornton. She earned a Bachelor of Science in management with a major in finance and a master's degree in accounting from Tulane University, where she was a member of Phi Mu and Beta Alpha Psi.

Cronin uses her skills as a progressive, enthusiastic employee to think of new, innovative solutions to issues. She also brings an optimistic attitude to relationship building and is excited to work with her team members to encourage them to expand and build deeper relationships with the people in their lives.  

In her spare time, Cronin enjoys traveling and exploring new places. She has been to more than 20 countries in four continents. Her favorite trip to date was hiking the Inca Trail in Peru to Machu Picchu. Cronin also likes to spend time with family and friends and volunteer with her local animal rescue, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

Erica Jones, CPA, Associate Manager – Detroit
After working as a Senior Auditor at EY in North Carolina, Jones joined Siegfried in 2013. She earned an undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University and a master's degree in accountancy from The Ohio State University.

"I'm truly excited about the opportunity to be a Team Leader in Detroit. Over the years, I have come to love and develop a deep appreciation for the Detroit office and I want to be a part of the continued excellence we're achieving here. I am passionate about helping people and l understand the importance of this responsibility," she said.

Jones values the time she spends with her family and friends, and loves going to concerts, reading, writing, and traveling.

Ting Lin, CPA, Senior Associate – New York Metro
Lin joined Siegfried in 2016 after serving as an Audit Senior at Deloitte. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting and her master's degree in accountancy from Bradley University's Foster College of Business.

Lin provides energetic impact to all of her relationships in her professional and personal life. "I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to be a Team Leader in the New York Metro Market," she said. "I believe that this role will enable me develop my leadership skills and help my team members make the most of their experience at Siegfried."

In her free time, Lin is always looking for new places to explore and recipes to try. She strives to visit at least one new country every year. This year, it will be Iceland and next year, she hopes to see India and Nepal.

Colin Moriarty, CPA, Associate Manager – New York Metro
Moriarty joined Siegfried in 2016 after working at BDO USA, LLP for nearly three years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Bentley University and his Master of Science in accountancy from Queens College.

Colin uses his strong communication skills to connect with others and learn more about them in the process. "Becoming a Team Leader gives me the opportunity to learn more about other Professionals at the Firm and provide any insight and guidance that they may need. I am extremely excited about this role," he said.

Outside of the office, Moriarty is an avid sports fan who follows the New York Mets, Giants, and Knicks. He enjoys spending time traveling and is hoping to get back to Europe within the next year. Other interests include skiing, cooking, and trying out new restaurants.

Amanda Ong, CA, Associate Manager – San Jose
Ong joined Siegfried in 2016 after serving as an Audit Manager at RSM Australia for more than six years. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting and finance from Curtin University in Australia.

A committed professional, Ong always seeks to tackle challenges and add values by taking a detailed-oriented approach. "As a Team Leader, I'm excited to build and invest in genuine connections with the Professional Resources in my market," she said. "I welcome this amazing opportunity and will strive to bring out the best in my team and ensure they have the best experience at Siegfried!"

In her free time, she has a wanderlust to travel, whether it is solo or with friends. She has gained many rewarding experiences from it and would like to continue this as she further explores California. Since moving to the States, she has jumped outside her comfort zone and been white water rafting and camping in the beautiful Bay Area.

Carl Pfadt, CPA, MBA, Associate Manager – Detroit
Pfadt joined Siegfried in 2016 after serving as a Lead Auditor in General Motors' internal audit group, where he focused on improving operational and financial processes and systems. Prior to that, he began his professional career at PwC. Pfadt earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA from St. Bonaventure University.

"It's a tremendous honor to be selected as a Team Leader, and I'm very excited about getting to know my fellow Detroit Professionals on a deeper level," he said. "I look forward to sharing experiences and perspectives with my team members so we can all grow together."

When he's not working, you can find Pfadt playing racquetball or jogging. He and his fiancée, Anna, also enjoy biking around Detroit's new and existing parks, visiting local art exhibits, and exploring the city's burgeoning food scene.

James Potter, CA, Associate Manager – New York Metro
Potter joined Siegfried in 2015 after two years of consulting in London, where he worked within large government departments, as well as in the media and communications industry. Prior to that, he gained four years of audit experience with BDO New Zealand. Potter earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and commercial law from Victoria University of Wellington.

He brings enthusiasm, confidence and advanced communication skills to every project, which make him a valuable and integral member of any team. "I'm both excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a Team Leader for Siegfried. Throughout my professional career, which spans a variety of different industries in three different continents, I have been exposed to some very accomplished leaders," he said. "I will strive to become a better leader myself, and being part of such a successful leadership team here at Siegfried will certainly help that."

In his free time, Potter is an avid traveler, having visited almost 40 countries, as well as over 20 states in the U.S. He stays active through playing different sports, particularly soccer. When he's not playing sports or visiting a new place, he's likely out socializing or finding the nearest TV to watch the Yankees.

Michael Sindall, CPA, Manager – D.C. Metro
Sindall joined Siegfried in 2015 after spending more than five years in the audit practice at RSM. He earned his bachelor's degree in both accounting and economics from the University of Maryland.

Sindall's resourcefulness and problem-solving skills make him an asset to any team. "As a Team Leader in D.C., I look forward to working with new and unique personalities and helping my team members achieve success both at the Firm and in their personal lives," he said. "I always enjoyed managing a team and look forward to this new opportunity."

Outside of the office, Sindall enjoys carpentry, working out, and traveling to new places. He is also a craft beer aficionado and regularly travels to beer festivals throughout the world.

Kyle Watts, Associate Manager – Cleveland
Watts joined Siegfried in 2015 after leaving Plante Moran. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Akron.

Watts' reasoned approach allows him to remain detail-oriented, while his superior mental agility enables him to remain mindful of the bigger picture. "I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as Team Leader in the Cleveland Market. It's exciting to work as a mentor to other Professionals and provide guidance for them to have a successful career."

In his spare time, Watts enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exercising.
