Siegfried Welcomes New Team Leaders in Many of its National Markets

A Siegfried Team Leader supports a group of Professional Resources in his or her Market, helping them clarify their goals, and confirming that these goals are aligned with Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives. Team Leaders demonstrate how Siegfried helps its Professional Resources achieve their bigger future, as well as their personal and professional success.

Siegfried congratulates Seun Awoye, Marta Bab'yak, Taylor Barlow, Eric Cirulli, Michael Jordan, Idrees Tily, and Morgan Wasser on becoming Team Leaders.

Seun Awoye, MBA, Associate Manager, Team Leader – Atlanta
Awoye joined Siegfried in 2015 as a Professional Resource. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in accounting and his Master of Professional Accountancy from George State University. Before coming to Siegfried, he gained four years of public accounting experience at PwC and BDO, and two years of industry experience.

A confident professional, Awoye exhibits the mental fortitude and analytical ability to consistently deliver exceptional service. He prides himself on building and maintaining meaningful relationships and rapport with his teams, clients, and network. "I'm excited to be a Team Leader because I'll have the chance to make a positive impact on my team members' careers while I build stronger relationships with them," he said. "I'll also be able to learn more about myself as a leader."

Awoye, a former personal trainer, stays active by playing soccer with his son. He also enjoys staying up-to-date on the world around him, including the world of sports.

Marta Bab'yak, CPA, CA, Associate Manager, Team Leader – San Jose
Bab'yak joined Siegfried in 2015 as a Professional Resource after working in the audit and assurance group at Deloitte for more than three years. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration at Simon Fraser University and her Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Saskatchewan.

Hard-working and motivated, Bab'yak dedicates herself to understanding the specifics of any situation and provides meaningful insights that lead to long-term results. "I am grateful for the opportunity to be a Team Leader in the San Jose Market, because it enables me to enhance my leadership skills and to inspire others to take advantage of the amazing initiatives available at Siegfried," said Bab'yak. "I've enjoyed all the relationships and connections I've made since joining the Firm, and look forward to continuing to invest in them."

Outside of the office, Bab'yak stays active through hiking and skiing. She is also an enthusiastic traveler and tries to visit new places every year. Other interests include spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and wine tasting in Napa Valley.

Taylor Barlow, CPA, Senior Associate, Team Leader – Philadelphia Metro
Barlow joined Siegfried in 2016 after working at Deloitte for nearly three years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting and her Master of Science in accountancy at Bentley University.

As someone with a passion for building meaningful relationships, Barlow gains energy and excitement via collaboration. "I'm so excited to bring my energizing collaboration style of leadership into this role and help my team members meet their fullest potential!"

Barlow enjoys traveling and hopes to visit to all seven continents and see the New7Wonders of the World – she has two continents and three wonders left! She cherishes the time she spends with her family and friends, loves to read, and enjoys exploring new areas and restaurants in Philadelphia.  

Eric Cirulli, Associate Manager, Team Leader – Philadelphia Metro
Cirulli joined Siegfried in late 2015 as a Professional Resource after spending three busy seasons as a Senior Accountant with PwC. He attended the University of Delaware, where he earned his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science in accounting.

Cirulli adapts quickly to any new environment and easily works with others to get the job done. "I want to help others have the best experience possible while they continue their careers with Siegfried," he said. "Being a Team Leader puts me in a great position to do just that."

In college, Cirulli was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, serving as both Treasurer and President. He was also on the drumline of the Fightin' Blue Hens Marching Band. Outside of the office, Cirulli likes to travel, cook, attend New York Jets games, and spend time outside. He's interested in a wide variety of outdoor actives, from biking and running to vegetable gardening and hiking. Cirulli participates in Tough Mudder events and has run the Philadelphia Marathon. His next challenges include the NYC Five Boro Bike Tour in May 2017 and the Philadelphia Olympic Triathlon in June 2017.

Michael Jordan, CPA, Director, Team Leader – Chicago
Jordan joined Siegfried in 2015 as a Professional Resource. He came to Siegfried from Evraz Inc. NA, where he spent four and a half years as the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting for the U.S., overseeing the close and consolidation of Evraz's U.S. legal entity. Before joining Evraz, he served as the Corporate Controller for Kinetek Industries, Inc. where he was responsible for oversight of all accounting and financial reporting. He began his career with EY, where he spent six and a half years in their audit practice.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting and a minor in Leadership Studies from the University of Rhode Island, where he currently sits on the College of Business Dean's Advisory Council. Jordan is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois and a Certified Microsoft Office Excel^® 2010 Expert.

"I am honored and excited about the opportunity to be a Team Leader for Siegfried," he said. "I have always valued the chance to be a part of a great team and I look forward to helping other Siegfried Professionals make the most of their experiences at the Firm."

An avid Chicago sports fan, Jordan enjoys going to games whenever possible. He's very active with his fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau, and served on their national board of directors and as a chapter advisor.

Idrees Tily, CPA, Manager, Team Leader – Houston
Tily joined Siegfried in 2016 as a Manager, after gaining three years of experience at KPMG and four years at Hines, a real estate and property management company. He earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Saint Thomas. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and a Microsoft Office 2010 Excel Expert.

Tily strives to be content, but never complacent. Although he is grateful for all of his blessings and continued professional success, he is driven to achieve and accomplish more. "I genuinely enjoy helping people in any way possible, and I look forward to being a helpful resource to my teammates, and helping them grow, develop, and succeed," he said. "It's not lost on me that I can and will learn a lot from each of my teammates, and I'm excited about all of the mutually beneficial relationships ahead!"

In his free time, Tily is an avid sports fan, specifically of the Houston Astros, and stays active by playing baseball and softball. In 2005, just one year before the Astros' made their sole World Series appearance, Tily appeared in the national television commercial and campaign "I Live for This!"

Morgan Wasser, MBA, Associate Manager, Team Leader – Houston
Wasser joined Siegfried in 2015 after working at Blue Line Rentals, where she assisted in the restructure and centralization of all accounting functions and prepared the company for a potential initial public offering. She also worked for Grant Thornton as a Senior Associate. Wasser earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas State University and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston, Victoria. She is also a Microsoft Office 2010 Excel Expert.

Wasser's ability to switch between taking an analytical view and emotionally connecting with her team helps her navigate through challenges to produce excellent results for the client. "Being able to provide guidance and mentor people has always been one of my passions. The opportunity to listen, relate, and provide guidance to help individuals reach their goals and work through issues energizes me to become better," she said. "As a Team Leader, I'm excited to have the opportunity to build these meaningful relationships, and to cultivate relationships within Siegfried's Leadership team as well."

In her spare time, Wasser enjoys being active, whether it's biking, running with her dog, doing CrossFit, or taking a nice walk. She also explores new places and isn't afraid to try new things, such as shooting and riding a motorcycle.
