WILMINGTON, Del., March 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP (Siegfried) is pleased to announce that six Professionals joined the Firm's National Market Leadership Team as Associate Directors in the Northeast Region, which includes Siegfried's offices in Manhattan, NY; Greenwich, CT; Short Hills, NJ; and Boston, MA.
Ryan Clacher, Robert Goldfarb, Bill McColl, Stephanie Simone, Ali Stamm, and Chris Tait recently completed an intensive, four-month program called Director Explore (DX), which immerses high-potential employees in leadership advisory and sales trainings run by various members of Siegfried's senior leadership, including CEO and Founder, Rob Siegfried.
As Associate Directors, they will support their Markets with leadership advisory, business development, and recruiting. The goal of DX is to allow interested individuals to explore the role of Director, and those who are successful in the program may go on to become Directors and, potentially, Managing Directors.
Siegfried congratulates the new Associate Directors on their accomplishments thus far and wishes them luck as they take on this new and challenging role.
Ryan Clacher, a Chartered Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2014 as a Professional Resource and now serves as an Associate Director in the New York Metro Market. Clacher joined the Firm after spending eight years with WesierMazar, LLP as an Audit Manager. He attended the University of Cape Town and the University of South Africa, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting and an Honors in Accounting, respectively.
"The DX program was a humbling experience," Clacher said. "It afforded me the opportunity to focus on my bigger future and assisted me with identifying my key professional and personal strengths."
Clacher enjoys playing cricket on his New York City-based team, golfing, traveling, and is constantly searching for new and adventurous socks to wear.
Robert Goldfarb joined Siegfried in 2016 as a Market Associate and now serves as an Associate Director in the Boston Market. Goldfarb attended the University of Delaware, earning a Bachelor of Science in finance and marketing. He went on to gain valuable experience at an IAC subsidiary, Mindspark, and a technology company, SevOne.
"One of the most important things I learned in DX was the importance of authenticity to yourself while being mindful of others," he said. "Finding the balance between the two can be a powerful combination."
Since moving to Boston last July, Goldfarb has been taking full advantage of the city around him. From sporting events and concerts to improv shows and spin classes, he's always ready to try something new.
Bill McColl, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2013 as a Professional Resource, transitioned to an Operations Associate in 2015, and now serves as an Associate Director in the New York Metro Market. McColl earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting and economics from the University of Pittsburgh and began his career at Deloitte.
"The DX program was transformational. In the last four months, I grew more as a person, and as an individual leader, than I have at any other point in my life," he said.
Stephanie Simone joined Siegfried in 2016 as a Market Associate and now serves as an Associate Director in the New York Metro Market. She earned her Bachelor of Science in economics and her Master of Business Administration from Quinnipiac University.
"I became more courageous in DX," Simone said. "Being able to work alongside the incredible group of people in this program helped me overcome fear and allowed me to have more faith in myself."
In her spare time, Simone loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family.
Ali Stamm joined Siegfried in 2016 as a Market Associate and now serves as an Associate Director in the New York Metro Market. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting and her master's in business taxation from the University of Southern California, and was most recently a Senior Associate for PwC.
"I was immediately attracted to Siegfried's entrepreneurial culture," said Stamm. "I wanted to become a respected Leadership Advisor who helps people become better leaders to exponentially improve their lives."
Outside of the office, Stamm stays active by going to SoulCycle classes with friends and running in Central Park. She looks forward to running the NYC Half Marathon this year on behalf of the Memorial Sloan Kettering team. Stamm also loves to travel and spend time with her family at the shore.
Chris Tait, a Chartered Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2013 as a Professional Resource, transitioned to a Team Leader, and now serves as an Associate Director in the New York Metro Market. Before he came to Siegfried, Tait worked as a Manager of M&A Due Diligence for PwC in both Frankfurt, Germany and New York City. He began his career as an Audit Manager with Greenwoods Chartered Accountants in Cape Town, South Africa.
"This was such a great experience," said Tait. "There was a lot of self-reflection on my current mindset, capabilities, and where I felt I could improve — which led to growth both personally and professionally. As a group, we really came together and formed strong bonds."
Tait, a native South African, enjoys beer, biltong (a South African beef jerky), and sports.
