Siegfried Welcomes Three New Associate Directors to its National Market Leadership Team in its South Region

Michelle Hein, Kristy Hislop, and Allison Plum (Schieffer) recently completed an intensive, four-month program called Director Explore (DX), which immerses high-potential employees in leadership advisory and sales trainings run by various members of Siegfried's senior leadership, including CEO and Founder, Rob Siegfried.

As Associate Directors, they will support their Markets with leadership advisory, business development, and recruiting. The goal of DX is to allow interested individuals to explore the role of Director, and those who are successful in the program may go on to become Directors and, potentially, Managing Directors.

Siegfried congratulates the new Associate Directors on their accomplishments thus far and wishes them luck as they take on this new and challenging role.

Michelle Hein, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2014 as a Recruiting Director for the South Region, and now serves as an Associate Director in the Atlanta Market. Prior to this, Hein spent four years with Deloitte, starting her career in audit and later transitioning to campus recruiting. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in international business and accounting from the University of Georgia and her Master of Public Accountancy from Georgia State University.  

"For me, DX was a journey to build confidence and learn more about my true self," Hein said. "I did things during my time in the program that I never thought I would have the courage to do. And, I formed new relationships that will last a lifetime!"

Hein recently moved back to her hometown of Atlanta, GA, and is enjoying spending time with her family and friends, as well as exploring the city. She loves University of Georgia football, traveling, and being outdoors. She also enjoys hiking with her two dogs and playing tennis.

Kristy Hislop, a Chartered Professional Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2013 as a Professional Resource, later became a Team Leader, and now serves as an Associate Director for the Houston Market. After earning her bachelor's degree in business management and organizational studies from the University of Western Ontario, Hislop began her career at PwC.

"I have always especially loved the part of my job that was focused on building meaningful relationships," Hislop said. "So, I knew that the DX program would be the perfect way to help develop my strengths."

Outside of the office, Hislop stays active by playing ultimate Frisbee, racket sports, softball, running, biking, and watching football and hockey. She is also an avid traveler, having been to more than 80 countries for both vacations and to compete in various sporting events.

Allison Plum (Schieffer) joined Siegfried in 2016 as a Market Associate and now serves as an Associate Director in the D.C. Market. Before this, Plum worked at the Mid-Atlantic's largest micro-market operator, specializing in client development and customer service. She also worked to enhance corporate culture and retention through customized workplace programs. Plum earned her Bachelor of Science in consumer marketing from the University of Alabama.

"I didn't realize that by participating in DX, I would learn so much about myself, my unique abilities, and what I have to offer," she said. "I'm confident when I say that over the last few months, I've become more aware of myself and more self-assured in knowing where I can add value."

In her free time, Plum loves to keep busy with her friends and family, listen to music, and spend time with her puppy, Rocky. A newlywed, she is settling in nicely as the new "Mrs. Plum." When she has the opportunity to get away for a few days, she makes a trip to Naples, FL.
