Signator Launches Signator Women Advisors Network
Network to strengthen support for current women advisors, attract more women advisors and better serve the women's market
BOSTON, Oct. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Signator Investors, Inc. today launched the Signator Women Advisors Network at its annual Practice Advancement Conference. Recognizing the unique talent and perspective offered by its female advisors, and the demand for more advisors to work with an ever-increasing population of women investors, Signator is allocating resources to grow this new, collaborative network.
The network will provide women advisors with resources and opportunities for business and professional growth, recruiting support and tools to help attract the next generation of female advisors to Signator, and a forum to recognize the many accomplishments of its women advisors. In addition, the network offers resources relating to serving the needs of women clients.
Ten of Signator's leading women advisors form the advisory committee and meet on a regular basis to drive the guidance, support and services offered by the network. Any Signator advisor can be a member of the Signator Women Advisors Network. Members are part of a community invested in using the resources available and sharing their own ideas and suggestions.
"Signator has always had a strong group of female advisors," said Matthew Rigatti, vice president of business development and resources at Signator and the executive sponsor of the Signator Women Advisors Network. "We're very pleased that a group of these leaders, chaired by Alice Tang, has come together to oversee this effort – we know how effective they are and think it bodes well for the network."
"In an industry that is male dominated, I am very pleased that Signator is launching a network designed to help our female advisors tap the strength, knowledge and experience of our community to achieve their highest potential," said Alice Tang, vice president BPG Wealth Management, LLC.. "As a network for female advisors, by female advisors, we are committed to helping more women enter our industry, and ensuring they have the resources and support they need to be successful on their own terms. I see a bright future where female advisors come to the table not to compete with male advisors but complement them - so both our clients, and the industry, win."
In addition to the online resources, networking opportunities are available through a private LinkedIn group.
"We are pleased to have these resources pulled together and hope that they are used to inspire growth and foster effective collaboration," said Rigatti.
