Silk® Abstract Company Announces Change of Name to Silk® Title & Escrow LLC; Re-Domestication in Delaware; and New Chief Executive Officer

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., Nov. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Silk® Abstract Company, a National title insurance, search, settlement and escrow provider, focused primarily on collaborating with lenders to simplify and streamline their mortgage loan settlement processes to enable the closing of more loans in a more cost-effective manner, announces that it has changed its name to Silk® Title & Escrow LLC, has re-domesticated as a Delaware limited liability company, and has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer.

Silk® Abstract Company, formerly a limited liability company organized under the Laws of Pennsylvania, announces that it has changed its name to Silk® Title & Escrow LLC and has re-domesticated as Delaware limited liability company.  In addition, Silk® Title & Escrow LLC announced today the promotion of Marc Trachtenberg from Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Development to Chief Executive Officer.
