Silver Point Capital Names Alan George Head of Credit Financing and Leverage Solutions

Appointment Strengthens Silver Point's Financing and Debt Capital Markets Capabilities in Support of Its Growing Direct Lending Business

GREENWICH, Conn., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Silver Point Capital, a global leader in credit investing that oversees the management of over $50 billion of investable assets, today announced it has named Alan George as the firm's Head of Credit Financing and Leverage Solutions.

In this newly created role, Mr. George will help lead the continued development of Silver Point's financing and debt capital markets capabilities as the firm builds upon its longstanding success in credit and accelerates the growth of its Direct Lending business. His responsibilities include developing and executing financing solutions and expanding relationships across the banking and institutional debt investor communities. Mr. George will work closely with Silver Point's investment teams and senior leadership.

In his new role, Mr. George will draw on his extensive experience, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Structured Products at Golub Capital, where he worked for nearly 18 years. In that role, Mr. George was responsible for structuring and executing the firm's CLOs, lines of credit and other structured debt financings across the firm and helped to grow the platform into the largest issuer of private credit securitizations in the market.
