Building on the company's show theme of Breaking into the New, Simmons is unveiling a significant upgrade to its Beautyrest® Pocketed Coil® spring and offering its retailers the broadest range of comforts in the Beautyrest brand's 86-year history.

Only from the originator of the Beautyrest Pocketed Coil, the NEW Beautyrest Smart Response™ Pocketed Coil Technology features a revolutionary, dual action design that functions like two coils working in series to provide new levels of motion separation, comfort, conformability and individualized back support. The top section of the coil, which is tapered, conforms to a sleeper's shape for comfort and pressure relief while the firmer, barrel-shape bottom section reacts to one's body weight and sleeping position for individualized back support and alignment.

The NEW Beautyrest Smart Response Pocketed Coil System is found in two of the Beautyrest lines that the company is launching in Las Vegas – the new Beautyrest NXG® and the new Beautyrest Elite™ Collections.

Simmons' new Beautyrest NXG line offers consumers a best-of-both-worlds combination of advanced technologies, giving customers supportive sleep through the contouring comfort and pressure relief of NXG Memory Foam enhanced by the motion separation and individualized back support of NEW Beautyrest Smart Response Pocketed Coil Technology. The 900 density line, which was designed with a striking new aesthetic, has eight models and a suggested retail price range of $1,799 - $3,499.

The new Beautyrest Elite line also features NEW Smart Response Pocketed Coil Technology and replaces the Beautyrest Anniversary™ Collection, which was introduced in 2010. The 900 density Variform construction includes new styling and luxurious BeautyStyle™ fabrics. The line is comprised of 20 models and has a suggested retail price range of $1,099 - $1,999.

Simmons is also introducing a new Beautyrest Classic™ collection with new styling, upgraded comfort foams and 800 density Pocketed Coil springs. The collection is available in 12 models and is priced at $599 - $1,099.

Also new in 2011 is a three-part performance index designed to help retailers tell a 'good, better, best' story and step consumers through the Beautyrest line. Along with the Motion Separation Index, each Beautyrest line will have a Pressure Relief Index and Conforming Support Index associated with it.
