Simply Italian - Great Wines Asia Tour will be Held on 22nd November in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- IEM (International Exhibition Management) (an Italian based wine events organization business which has been organizing Italian wine events in China since 1998) has renewed their collaboration with SIEC (Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd.) and Three C China Consulting to bring its new brand of wine event Simply Italian – Great Wines to Shanghai on 22nd November, 2010 at Le Meridien Hotel, Shanghai (789 East Nanjing Road).

IEM's new brand focuses on quality wine events, offering industry professionals, members of the trade and press as well as selected wine enthusiasts the opportunity to explore some of Italy's greatest wines and to meet iconic Italian wine producers as well as rising stars from Italy's varied wine-making regions.

This November will mark the debut of IEM's Simply Italian – Great Wines Asia Tour which will include 3 stops in Asia for the Italian wine producers looking to penetrate these prosperous markets.  The tour will kick off on 22nd November in Shanghai at the Le Meridien Hotel, will then move to the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul on 24th November, before concluding in Tokyo at the Aoyama Diamond Hall on 26th November.  

Shanghai is the start of this new wine experience in Asia and will see a group of wineries from all over Italy arrive in China to show their products to importers, distributors, restaurants, hotels and select wine lovers. Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend a seminar to discover the different regions of Italy and the wines they produce. This will be lead by a local Chinese wine expert. The event will start at 12pm until 5.30pm.

The Simply Italian – Great Wines Asia Tour Walk around tasting will give visitors the opportunity to explore Italy's remarkable wines - from refreshing whites to velvety reds but also sparkling and sweet wines. With new vintages on show, even those who are already connoisseurs of Italian wines will have something new to discover.    

The Simply Italian – Great Wines Asia Tour 2010 is just part of a series of wine events which IEM organizes around the world. Others include the US Tour held in New York, Chicago, Boston and Miami.
