Sir Peter Bonfield, CBE, FREng, Joins the Board of GlobalLogic

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GlobalLogic today announced that Sir Peter Bonfield was appointed to the company's board of directors.

A leading international business executive with over 45 years of experience in the fields of electronics, computers and communications, Sir Peter has been involved with a diverse portfolio of companies, operating at the main board level, in the USA, Europe and the Far East.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of NXP Semiconductors N.V., The Netherlands; Chair of Council and Senior Pro-Chancellor at Loughborough University, UK; Director of L.M. Ericsson, Sweden; Director of Mentor Graphics Corporation Inc, Oregon, USA; Director of T.S.M.C, Taipei, Taiwan; and Director of Sony Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. Sir Peter is also a board mentor with CMi, Belgium; member of the Sony Corporation Advisory Board, Japan; member of the Longreach Group Advisory Board, Hong Kong; member of the New Venture Partners LLP Advisory Board, USA; senior advisor at Rothschild, London; Chairman of the Board, East West Institute, UK; and Board Director, East West Institute, USA.

Previously, Sir Peter served as Chairman and CEO of ICL and subsequently as CEO of British Telecommunications plc.
