Sisense Appoints Amir Orad Chief Executive Officer

Sisense , a leader in big data analytics for business users, announced today that following a fourth year of growth, and to meet growing demand and accelerating global momentum, its Board of Directors appointed Amir Orad, previously CEO of NICE Actimize, as its new Chief Executive Officer based in New York. He will succeed Amit Bendov, who has led the company to date.

As a leader in big data analytics for business users, Sisense has tripled subscription revenues for the fourth straight year as demand continues to accelerate globally. It has recently raised its $30 million Series C round and acquired a record number of customers in more than 50 countries. The company continues to grow its New York headquarters as part of a global expansion strategy. Orad, based in New York, will build upon this momentum by focusing on business execution and strategy, while continuing to invest and boost the type of innovation that helped Sisense become the leader it is.

Orad, a successful CEO, entrepreneur and big data analytics thought leader, was until recently the CEO of NICE Actimize, the financial crime analytics leader. During his tenure, the business grew over six fold reaching approximately $200M revenue in 2014.  Earlier, he was co-founder and EVP Product/CMO of Cyota, a cyber analytics company, acquired by RSA Security where he then served as VP Marketing. Orad spent the first decade of his career developing technology and leading R&D and product organizations and received his MBA from Columbia University and B.Sc in Computer Science and Management from Tel Aviv University. He is credited as an inventor on several risk and analytics related patents.
