Skyline "Brings America Home" at 2017 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show
ELKHART, Ind., Feb. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Skyline Corporation brought something for everyone to the 2017 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show in Kentucky. Terry Decio, Vice President of Sales and Marketing shared, "Louisville is a great place to showcase what we can do when it comes to the right product, at the right time." At the show, Skyline featured a variety of homes spanning a 396-square foot HUD-built model with a full deck that received attention from those interested in the "tiny living" movement to nicely equipped proving models, a package home that was a show hit as well as a "custom" home that would set any community apart from all others.
Scott Parkhurst, National Sales Manager noted, "Each of the Skyline sales teams (representing the Sugarcreek, Ohio; Elkhart, Indiana; Lancaster, Wisconsin; Leola, Pennsylvania and Arkansas City, Kansas divisions) did a great job preparing for Louisville. As we could see competitor spaces at the show slow down, the Skyline display was busy for all three days. Business was brisk with longtime partners as well as new customers. We really could not have asked for a better show." Skyline Corporation received new orders for all divisions that will help fulfill winter production slots. Parkhurst added, "Because of the show, we must review the need to increase current production at a couple of our divisions, which will give us a jump start for the spring."
During the show, Skyline was pleased to present their 2016 Salesperson of the Year award to Jim Kaun at the Skyline Homes of Wisconsin division. Terry Decio noted, "A veteran of Skyline, Jim has always represented the division, company and his business partners with the upmost class and professionalism. Jim had another great year, one of many at Skyline." The 2016 Sales Manager of the Year was awarded to Rick Wolf of Skyline Homes of Pennsylvania.
