SLI Systems Appoints Neil Thomas Chief Revenue Officer and President of North America

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand , Nov. 10, 2014  /PRNewswire/ -- SLI Systems (SLI.NZ) today announced the appointment of Neil Thomas as its new Chief Revenue Officer and President of North America. In this role Thomas will play a key part in increasing adoption of the company's world-leading e-commerce solutions by online retailers and business-to-business websites.

In appointing a Chief Revenue Officer and creating the role of President of North America, SLI is making an ongoing investment in executive capability in what is both its largest market and is also the largest e-commerce market in the world.

Thomas joins SLI from the Palo Alto-based Adaptive Insights, a global leader in cloud-based business analytics. He has a near twenty-year track record for establishing, developing and continuously improving highly successful global sales teams.

Prior to that he enjoyed success in senior sales roles at the internet-based enterprise business planning software provider Adaytum. Before this he was at the market leading business intelligence software firm Cognos, which is now part of IBM.

Thomas will lead SLI's global sales effort from the company's U.S. office in San Jose commencing December 1.
