Slickdeals is offering two scholarships valued at up to $5,000 each for undergraduate college students with a minimum 3.0 GPA for the Fall 2016 semester/quarter. The funds must only be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment as required by the winner's university. Applicants will be required to submit an original 500 word essay defining their best money-saving tips for college. Winners will be selected by the official Slickdeals Scholarship Committee with the top 10 finalists being featured on the Slickdeals college section.
Along with the scholarship program, Slickdeals is launching their inaugural college education portal which will be the central hub for college students to interface with Slickdeals. The Portal encompasses student discounts, information about Slickdeals internships, schedule and recaps of Slickdeals college events, and information on the Slickdeals Saves U! Scholarship Program.
