Slumberland Teams Up With Blossom Medical, LLC To Form Incubology, A World-Class Incubator At The Site Of The Former Imation Headquarters
OAKDALE, Minn., Aug. 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Slumberland announces a partnership with Blossom Medical, LLC, to develop a portion of its new 122-acre site located at the intersection of I-694 and Highway 5 in Oakdale, Minnesota (formerly Imation headquarters) into Incubology, a world-class high tech incubator. The fully developed space will consist of dedicated state-of-the-art wet and dry labs, clean rooms, individual offices, IT development and collaborative sharing spaces.
Incubology is a fully private initiative and will provide a high quality, move-in environment to support start-ups as well as established companies who are searching for innovative, collaborative space. The dedicated wet and dry lab space is suitable for R&D and manufacturing for pharmaceutical, med-tech, biotech, nanotechnology, and chemical industries. Additionally, it will serve as a dedicated high-tech working space for IT and software developers. The incubator concept - bringing pharma, biotech, medtech, nanotech, chemistry, IT and related technologies under one roof - is a highly unique feature of Incubology. Services such as regulatory affairs consulting, banking and specialized insurance, corporate and intellectual property legal services will also be integrated into the incubator platform.
State-of-the-art training rooms and conference facilities will be used for scientific and technological events and conferences, solidifying Incubology as an important national and international technology hub.
Incubology will be managed by veterans of the biotech, pharma, medtech, and high tech industries.

Slumberland has hired Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq and Brisky Commercial to lease the campus and bdh+young interiors|architecture for architectural and interior design services.
The site has three existing tenants who will remain on site: 3M, Kodak, and Carestream.
