GUANGZHOU, China, Jan. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, has released highlights and schedules of the upcoming exhibition in the spring.
As the most influential international exhibition in China, the Canton Fair attracts more than 24,000 Chinese companies and over 500 international companies each session.
The spring Canton Fair this year will highlight two themes in Phase 1 - green and smart, in an exhibition area of over 100,000 square meters with intelligent products such as refrigerators, air conditioners, washers, smart robots, printers and home medical supplies. Signature products, such as a window cleaning robot, which has gained the 2015 Red Dot Design Award and nominated at IFA UX Design Award from world famous brands will take center stage.
In addition, at Zone B, Exhibition Hall 10.3 at the Canton Fair, a green energy display section will be set up to present PV solar products, solar thermal products as well as wind power products, presenting the latest development and products of the new energy industry. Leading brands and companies are selected to exhibit cutting-edge technologies and products to demonstrate the industry trends.

As usual, the 119th Canton Fair will be hosted in three phases, each with its special programs.
With Phase 1 to be held from April 15 to 19 covering fields from electronics and household appliances, machineries, hardware and tools to building and construction and energy sources, Phase 2 from April 23 to 27 will be featuring three categories -- consumer products, gifts and souvenirs and home decorations. Phase 3 from May 1 to 5 will exhibit products in fields such as office, luggage and leisure products, food, medicine and health care, shoes, textiles and more.
Besides the traditional exhibition model of seeing samples and closing deals, Canton Fair will also host a series of themed events and conferences in commerce, trade as well as promoting special products from different countries to help exhibitors to carve a path in the Chinese market.
