SmartPros Extends Software Product Development Partnership With Ness Technologies Through 2015

SmartPros, an industry leader in the field of accredited professional education and corporate training, has agreed to a three-year extension of its R&D services partnership with Ness Technologies, Inc.'s Software Engineering Services business unit, which specializes in providing global software product development services to many of the world's leading eLearning companies. The companies have been working together since 2009, when Ness became SmartPros' product development partner. With this extended agreement, Ness will continue working with SmartPros on product development, quality assurance, content development, and IT support for several products.

During the partnership, Ness helped SmartPros adopt Agile software product development processes to help increase the speed at which they can bring products to market, as well as provided enhanced visibility to the performance of both the onshore and offshore development teams. Ness collaborated on the development of SmartPros' new iReflect platform, its training software delivery platform that enables custom video role-play training scenarios. Ness has also played an integral role in evolving SmartPros' eCampus (ecampus.smartpros.com), working on development and testing of new features, as well as the webinar tools that enhance SmartPros' online training content.
