SmartSource Delivers Largest Sunday Newspaper Coupon Insert In Company History On Sunday, January 6th

NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- To help consumers lighten their financial load after the holiday season, SmartSource, the premier coupon distributor in North America, is kicking off the new year with an unprecedented quantity and array of savings. News America Marketing (NAM), a division of News Corporation (NASDAQ: NWS), today announced that on Sunday, January 6^th, 2013 the SmartSource Magazine coupon insert will be the largest in the company's history.  Multiple inserts will be required in most markets in order to deliver up to 132 pages of coupons and savings, a record number for a single date.

News America Marketing worked with some of the largest consumer packaged goods companies in the nation in a quest to fill the special January 6^th insert with high-value savings offers.  Consumers will find up to $100 in savings on everyday products from top brands.  Each market can expect to see a larger number of coupons than they see in their usual weekly insert, with variations in each market based on brand participation. One of the additional books many markets will see is the "New Year, New You" themed insert that contains savings on many health and wellness related items and includes a sweepstakes for a spa getaway for two.
