Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill Sends Tampa, Fla. Football Fan to Indianapolis for the Big Game

MIAMI, Feb. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- After a long season of dedicated football fans battling it out for a trip to Indianapolis, Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill announces Leonard Hamby of Tampa, Fla. as the grand prize winner of the Smokin' Season Pass promotion.

From Sept. 8, 2011, through Jan. 1, 2012, the restaurant and bar, specializing in good food, good drinks and good times, hosted an NFL promotion featuring its Smokin' Season Pass Punch Card in which guests' cards were "punched" for watching games on site and correctly guessing a winning team for each game day. Winner Leonard Hamby accumulated a total of 58 punches to become the winner of the grand prize of an all-inclusive trip for two to the final faceoff in Indianapolis on Feb. 5, 2012.

"I could have stopped at 20 punches on my punch card to win the $250 gift card, but I enjoyed watching the games at Smokey Bones so much that I kept coming back," says Hamby. "The gift card and points on my Bones Club card were an added bonus to enjoying the games with great food. But winning the whole thing... Wow!"

A South Carolina native, Hamby watched three quarters of the season's football games at his local Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Tampa, Fla.'s Citrus Park. Of those games, Hamby chose the winning team approximately four out of five times. The trip, which includes airfare for two to Indianapolis along with accommodations at the Bud Light Hotel and two tickets to the season's final game, will also serve as a 60th birthday gift to his sister, who will accompany him on his first trip to the NFL's most important match up. As for his guess for the winning team, Hamby's prediction is for the New England Patriots to win it all.
