SMRP Launches Online Library of Knowledge

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- This month, the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) is launching the SMRP Library of Knowledge, an online knowledge center featuring world-class assist tools for the Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) community.  The Library offers access to more than a decade of SMRP conference proceedings, as well as all currently published consensus-based metrics, guidelines and glossary of terms.  In addition, the Library houses the Benchmarking Study for M&R and hundreds of conference papers and presentations.  

Each feature of the Library of Knowledge gives users immediate access to valuable information and tools for improving M&R.  The searchable database of conference papers and presentations provides practical, real-life experiences that support improvement in M&R.  All 67 metrics, which provide reliable and standardized guidance on how to measure key performance indicators, will be available this month through the online knowledge center.  In partnership with enetrix- a division of Gallup, the Benchmarking Study for M&R can also be accessed in real-time, giving users the ability to compare their M&R performance to others in the same or similar industries.
