Snow Phipps Group Acquires Electric Guard Dog from Ulysses Management
NEW YORK, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Snow Phipps Group, LLC ("Snow Phipps") today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Electric Guard Dog, LLC ("Electric Guard Dog" or the "Company") from an affiliate of Ulysses Management LLC ("Ulysses").
Electric Guard Dog is the largest provider of monitored electric security fence systems in the United States. The Company's highly effective security solutions allow customers to protect high-value assets stored at commercial and industrial locations. Increased crime levels and restricted law enforcement resources are driving an ever-widening array of companies to seek the deterrent value of Electric Guard Dog's electric security fence system.

Current CEO Jack DeMao and the existing Electric Guard Dog management team will continue to lead the Company following the transaction. Snow Phipps Operating Partner John Kenny, who focuses on industrial service businesses, will join Electric Guard Dog as the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Kenny currently serves as Chairman of Cascade Environmental Services and was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of Iron Mountain Inc., a storage and information management company.
