Socket Mobile Appoints Richard Brack as General Manager of Socket Mobile EMEA

NEWARK, Calif., June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Socket Mobile, Inc. (OTC: SCKT), an innovative provider of mobile productivity solutions, today announced that Richard Brack has joined Socket Mobile as General Manager of Socket Mobile Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).  Richard brings with him 23 years of experience in the IT industry and over 18 years of experience selling Business Mobility products.   As General Manager, Richard will lead Socket Mobile's EMEA team, support Socket Mobile's distributors within EMEA, and focus on further expanding the growing European developer community incorporating Socket Mobile Bluetooth barcode scanners into mobile applications in retail, hospitality, healthcare and other mobile markets.  He holds a degree in General Management from the University of Applied Sciences of Northwestern Switzerland complemented by post graduate language programs with degrees completed in England, France, Ecuador & Spain. He is fluent in many European languages including German, English, French and Spanish.

The distribution agreement between USL and Socket Mobile was terminated as part of the agreement for Richard to become Socket Mobile's General Manager, EMEA.
