Solana Mobile Announces Ledger as its First Hardware Expansion Partner

This partnership builds on the hardware expansion Solana Mobile began in March 2026, when it opened the Solana Mobile Stack to Android manufacturers at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Every new device leveraging the Solana Mobile Stack brings more people into the SKR ecosystem. More people bring more builders. And more builders bring better apps, which bring the next wave of people. The SKR token is at the heart of it all, allowing users to be rewarded for participating in the ecosystem, developers for building and hardware manufacturers for integrating.

Ledger Atom is a new security and privacy device that leverages Android Open Source Project (AOSP) alongside a Secure Element (EAL6+) running Ledger OS, with the display and touch control physically isolated from the Android operating system. Seeker app will be integrated with this secure technology and preinstalled on the new device, serving as a gateway for Ledger users to the Solana ecosystem.

Ledger Atom will contain advanced anti-tampering and tamper-evident solutions from packaging to the device itself, including methods to help detect if the enclosure has been opened. Ledger Atom will only be sold directly on Ledger's official site.

"Great experiences come from teams who focus on the details, and Solana Mobile is one of those teams. Seeker made self-custody feel natural on mobile. Having the Seeker app on Ledger Atom from day one just makes sense, so Ledger users get access to the Solana ecosystem without giving up any of the security." — Ian Rogers, Chief Human Agency Officer, Ledger

Expanding beyond our own hardware

It's the right moment to expand: Seeker has proven people will hold and use their assets from hardware built for it, with over $13B in transaction volume on Seeker, 154 million transactions, and over 1,500 apps on the SolanadApp Store. The Seeker app on Ledger Atom gives users the best of both worlds: access to the world of Solana with the hardware expertise of Ledger.

App stores are one of the least contestable markets in the world. A few companies decide what ships and take up to a 30% cut of every transaction. Solana Mobile built the SolanadApp Store to change that. Developers can ship the crypto features other app stores often restrict, get reviewed in days instead of weeks, and reach an engaged audience that actually uses crypto every day. It was never supposed to live on just Seeker.

If you own a Seeker, nothing changes, Seeker will stay fully supported. If you build for Solana Mobile, the same SolanadApp Store submission now reaches an expanded audience across multiple devices. Ledger Atom users will join you in the Solana Mobile ecosystem as we bring the same experience to them with the Seeker app.

"The Seeker phone proved what a crypto-native mobile community can do: shipping over a thousand apps with billions in transaction volume from over 100,000 users, and founders finding their first customers in a matter of days. Now we're thrilled to take the Solana Mobile ecosystem further with Ledger, and I'm excited for Ledger Atom users to experience the magic that Seeker users have been experiencing for over a year." — Anatoly Yakovenko, Co-Founder and CEO, Solana Labs

What's in the Seeker app on Ledger Atom

The Seeker app will bring the core Solana Mobile experience to Ledger's hardware security model, enabling Ledger Atom users to:

• Connect to the Solana ecosystem on day one. The Seeker app will be preloaded and featured on Ledger Atom's home screen.
• Approve securely. Signing and approvals in the Seeker app will happen in Ledger Atom's Secure Mode, backed by the Secure Element and Ledger OS, so the transaction users confirm is the one they sign.
• Discover apps. The SolanadApp Store will be built in, with 1500+ dApps available today on Seeker coming to Ledger Atom, spanning trading, payments, gaming, AI, and more.
