In this role, Sandoval will drive corporate strategy, expand strategic partnerships and optimize business operations as the market for AC solar solutions continues to mature.
Sandoval previously served in executive roles at SunPower Corporation, most recently as senior director of SunPower's Silicon Materials organization responsible for all silicon-related commodity management and technology advancement. Prior to SunPower, Sandoval was at Bloom Energy where he was responsible for product cost and technology advancement in the fuel cell stack area. Before moving into alternative energy, he served for 14 years in various engineering and operations management positions at Intel and Lam Research. Sandoval holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of California at Los Angeles and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of California at Berkeley.
