Solenis Announces Agreement with Moleaer to Expand Use of Nanobubble Technology for Polymer Activation

Agreement integrates nanobubble-generating equipment into Solenis' Novera^℠ Nanobubble Performance Program, helping customers improve polymer performance and operational efficiency and advance sustainability goals in solids-liquid separation applications

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Solenis, a leading global provider of water treatment, process and hygiene solutions, has entered into a strategic representation agreement with Moleaer Inc., the global leader in nanobubble technology, to expand the use of nanobubble-generating equipment for flocculant polymers used in targeted water and wastewater treatment applications.

Under the global agreement, Solenis will serve as Moleaer's exclusive third-party representative for the use of its nanobubble technology in polymer activation. Moleaer's patented nanobubble technology will be integrated into Solenis' Novera^℠ Nanobubble Performance Program, combining Moleaer's patented process to improve polymer chemistry with Solenis' industry-leading chemistry and technical expertise. Together, the companies will deliver a comprehensive, integrated solution that helps customers optimize polymer performance, improve operational efficiency and advance sustainability goals.

For customers in industrial and municipal markets, the collaboration is designed to create new opportunities to refine polymer treatment programs across applications such as dewatering, thickening and clarification. The key focus of the partnership is the integration of nanobubble technology into the make-down water used to dilute and activate flocculant polymers, enhancing liquid-solids separation processes.

Nanobubbles are charged gas bubbles measuring less than 200 nanometers in diameter that remain suspended in water. When introduced into make-down water for polymer activation, nanobubbles can reduce polymer consumption by 10% to 40% in applicable treatment processes along with a 2% to 4% increase in cake dryness. Actual results may vary based on application and operating conditions.
