Soles4Souls®, The Shoe Charity, and www.ShopChameleon.com Partner for Japanese Relief Efforts

NEW YORK, April, 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Soles4Souls (www.giveshoes.org) and Chameleon Accessories Boutique have joined forces to bring shoes to victims of the devastating earthquake in Japan.

Chameleon Accessories Boutique via www.ShopChameleon.com will help collect footwear to support Soles4Souls' commitment to donate footwear to affected areas in Southeast Asia. Beginning April 5, 2011 through May 6, 2011, customers at www.ShopChameleon.com will have the opportunity to donate to the organization by purchasing shoes and $3 for each shoe purchase will be given to Soles4Souls or to drop off a gently worn pair of shoes. All donations will directly support relief efforts.

Soles4Souls has partnered with other organizations on the ground in Japan to transport and distribute the aid needed as the devastation from the earthquake continues to unfold.  Since the charities inception after the Asian Tsunami in 2004, the shoe charity has continued to respond to natural disasters like the one in Japan with footwear that protect victims against foot-borne diseases.
