Marty Cedillos currently resides in her hometown of El Paso, Texas. She studied nursing and accounting before focusing her attention on caring for her family. "Within" is inspired by stories told to her by her grandparents; stories she has since shared with her own daughter. In 2008, upon the encouragement of her daughter, she began writing the stories down. "Within" is her first book.
