Somnia Anesthesia to Recognize Clinical Excellence at Inaugural Clinicians of the Year Virtual Event

Somnia's first virtual company-wide recognition to celebrate anesthesiologists and CRNAs from coast to coast

HARRISON, N.Y., Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Somnia Anesthesia, a national anesthesia management company providing anesthesia care and staffing solutions to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and office-based practices, today announced its inaugural Clinicians of the Year event, a virtual celebration recognizing outstanding anesthesiologists and CRNAs from across Somnia's network. The event will be held virtually on October 7, 2026, for Somnia clinicians and staff nationwide.

Somnia will present four awards: one Anesthesiologist and one CRNA from the East Coast, and one Anesthesiologist and one CRNA from the West Coast. Nominees were selected by their peers, with final award decisions made by Somnia's leadership team.

The event also marks Somnia's 30th year serving hospitals and health systems nationwide, making this inaugural celebration a fitting way to close out the company's anniversary year.

Dr. Marc Koch, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. Robert Goldstein, Chief Medical Officer, will share remarks during the event.

The virtual format was chosen to ensure clinicians at every Somnia site, regardless of location, can participate in the company's coast-to-coast recognition event.

Somnia plans to announce the honorees following the October 7 event.
