SONIFI HEALTH Solutions Hires Jamey Christensen as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

LOS ANGELES and SIOUX FALLS, S.D., April 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SONIFI HEALTH Solutions™, a leading provider of interactive content and connectivity solutions to the healthcare industry, announces the appointment of Jamey Christensen, as SVP, Sales & Marketing. Christensen joins the SONIFI HEALTH team from NextGen Healthcare Information Systems where he was District VP Sales, West and Southwest. In his new role, Christensen will be responsible for nationwide customer sales and relationships specifically focused on sales and marketing strategy, building and managing the sales team.  He will oversee all healthcare sales and marketing initiatives for the SONIFI healthcare business that today serves over 80 facilities across the United States, providing service to nearly 20,000 patient beds touching an estimated 1.4 million patients each year.

At NextGen, Christensen was responsible for leading sales and associated activities for Electronic Health Record and Practice Management system sales to physician practices and hospitals.  During his time at NextGen he was responsible for developing the sales initiatives and sales team to the smaller provider market and helping his teams expand market presence to both large provider organizations and hospitals.   Christensen brings over 15 years of experience leading sales team into expanding markets in the healthcare information system market place and holds a Masters of Health Administration from Saint Louis University.  "I am thrilled to be joining the team at SONIFI HEALTH and to be leading the efforts for driving market development and sales into this quickly expanding and necessary patient engagement market.  SONIFI HEALTH has a terrific blend of product and people to service the healthcare marketplace and provide a solution that will benefit hospitals and the patients they serve."
