Sopris Capital Appoints Bud Rosenthal as New CEO of Firepoint Solutions
DENVER, Oct. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Firepoint Solutions, the Sopris backed CRM and lead generation system for residential real estate agents, recently announced that Bud Rosenthal was selected by the board of directors at Firepoint and Sopris Capital as the new chief executive officer of Firepoint Solutions effective immediately. Rosenthal has over 20 years of expertise in leading successful ventures and establishing new technology companies. Rosenthal is stepping into the chief executive officer position as the current CEO, Bill Horne, transitions into another position with Sopris Capital.

Bud Rosenthal has spent the last six years at AOL, one of the leading online global brand companies, where he joined as the Senior Vice President of Paid Services, and quickly climbed to President and Corporate Officer of AOL Inc. His leadership helped grow AOL's new subscription products into a multi-million-dollar business adding several millions of new paid subscribers. Prior to joining AOL, Rosenthal served as the President and CEO of TurnHere, a venture-backed tech company where he increased revenue more than fivefold over the course of his tenure and grew clients by 500%. Before that, he was CEO of WorkMetro, a startup online job board. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business with a dual focus in Entrepreneurial Management and Strategic Planning.
