Robert Bessler, M.D., CEO of Sound Physicians, will serve as an expert faculty member for SHM's new practice management pre-course, entitled, "What Keeps You Awake at Night? Hot Topics in Hospitalist Practice Management." The course will offer perspectives about best practices for delivering value in hospital medicine and creating sustainable hospitalist careers. Dr. Bessler will be joined by course directors John Nelson, M.D., M.H.M., and Leslie Flores, M.H.A., as well as faculty member Eric Howell, M.D., S.F.H.M., associate professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The course takes place Thursday, May 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
