NEW CASTLE, Del., Jan. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Speakman, the premier maker of high-performance showerheads and bathroom fixtures, has announced the launch of Designer Spotlight, a national search for talented residential interior designers interested in making Speakman product performance part of their artistic vision for their clients' bathrooms. The program will run through February 13, 2015, with 10 winners to be selected for inclusion in Speakman's national launch of a new, direct-to-consumer commerce strategy in May.
Here's how the program works: interior designers with a bathroom renovation currently underway—from a complete gut reno to minor fixture upgrades—are invited to submit photos of the client's bathroom and a link to the designer's portfolio to Speakman by February 13, 2015. Speakman will choose 10 designers from the submissions and work with those designers to complete a full, professional photo shoot by March 20th.
The project photography will be featured on Speakman's new website and promotional material as part of the company's effort to bring its products directly to residential designers and homeowners. Most bathroom fixture manufacturers rely solely on showrooms to display and provide purchasing opportunities for their products; Speakman is now expanding its reach to let residential designers, DIY-ers, and everyone in between experience the high quality, exceptional performance, and smart engineering that makes Speakman showerheads and fixtures the best in their class.
