Spire Capital Closes on the Sale of Carpathia to QTS Realty Trust
NEW YORK, June 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Spire Capital Partners ("Spire Capital"), a private equity firm specializing in investments in the business services, information services, media, education and communications sectors, closed on the sale of Carpathia Hosting, Inc. ("Carpathia"), a leading hybrid cloud services provider, to QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS), a national provider of data center solutions and fully managed services, for approximately $326 million.
Carpathia is a leading compliant hybrid cloud technology platform and provider of cloud and managed solutions for some of the world's most demanding enterprises and public sector agencies. The Company's proprietary technology platform and services were purpose-build to power a comprehensive suite of managed, cloud and hybrid solutions specifically designed to meet commercial and compliance requirements.
