Spreading the Word of God Through the Power of Music: OCP Partners with Hermana Glenda

PORTLAND, Ore., March 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The inspirational music of Catholic singer/songwriter Hermana Glenda is now available through OCP. Today, the liturgical publisher announced a partnership with the popular Spanish-language artist to distribute seven of her soul-stirring collections.

"With the ability to open hearts and move them deeply, Hermana Glenda is a gifted artist who travels with a simple message: God loves every one of us," explains Victoria Demezas, Associate Director of Hispanic Ministries at OCP. Founded in 2008, Hermana Glenda's non-profit organization, "Consuelen a mi Pueblo," is dedicated to helping those in underprivileged countries. Among other things, the organization supports her missionary trips and sponsors shelters for financially challenged families and orphaned children.

Hermana Glenda will be presenting a Spanish-language workshop during this month's LA Religious Education Congress in Anaheim, CA. Her CDs will be available for sale at the OCP booth. Those that cannot attend the event will find all seven of her collections at ocp.org.
