SproutVideo Introduces New Earth Day Initiative to Help Restore National Forests
SproutVideo, a video hosting provider for business, has committed to donating a portion of proceeds from new business in 2016 to the National Forest Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring America's National Forests.
NEW YORK, April 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SproutVideo is celebrating Earth Day in 2016 by giving back to the planet in a new initiative to help restore National Forests in the USA. As part of this new program, SproutVideo will be donating a portion of the proceeds from all video hosting accounts opened on its platform to the National Forest Foundation (NFF), a reputable nonprofit organization that is dedicated to restoring America's National Forests.
Donations to the NFF from SproutVideo will be used to plant native trees on National Forest lands that have been impacted by drought, wildfire and other natural disasters.
"As a growing startup, we have been trying to do our part to minimize our environmental impact by commuting via public transportation, reducing paper waste, recycling, and making easy everyday changes, like using rechargeable batteries in our offices," said Adam Podolnick, Founder and CEO. "We see this as an important way to give much more back to the planet, and to help support key initiatives that will promote the health and expansion of our national forests."
