DENVER, Oct. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SquareTwo Financial, a leader in the $100 billion asset recovery and management industry, today announced that the company has been named the fastest growing private company in Denver by the Denver Business Journal. The company was also named the ninth largest private company in Colorado by ColoradoBiz magazine this month.

Each year, the Denver Business Journal ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the Denver area based on revenue growth. This year, SquareTwo Financial was ranked fastest growing among companies with revenues in excess of $46 million, the category reserved for the largest privately held companies in the metro area. The Denver Business Journal arrived at the categories by taking into consideration the reported revenues of all the companies that submitted data and grouping them to achieve maximum competition among like-sized companies. SquareTwo Financial saw 55% revenue growth between 2011 and 2012.

The annual ColoradoBiz ranking lists the top 250 privately held companies in Colorado based on revenue. With 2012 revenues of more than $354 million, SquareTwo Financial moved up the ColoradoBiz list to ninth place from 15^th on the previous year's list.
