SRG Global™ celebrates expansion in Spain with new low emissions painting line

TROY, Mich., Sept. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Company officials from SRG Global, a Guardian company, were joined by employees and their families at an opening celebration held yesterday to mark the expansion of the company's facility in Liria, Spain.

SRG Global is a Tier 1 interior and exterior trim supplier providing solutions for the automotive and commercial truck industries. The expansion supports the company's production of high value coatings for automotive plastics and subsystems in Europe.

The expansion at Liria adds 10,000 square meters to the existing 45,000-square-meter facility and features a state-of-the-art painting line. Sustainability and efficiency were the driving factors for the new line, which features the latest technologies available to improve part complexity in size, geometry and asset optimization.

Located in the province of Valencia, the Liria plant employs approximately 850 people and produces exterior trim assemblies for various global automakers. It is one of SRG Global´s largest manufacturing facilities. Since starting production in 1992, it has supplied parts to most of the global auto manufacturers with a focus on the European region. By the end of this year, more than 1,5 million vehicles will feature parts manufactured at SRG Global in Liria.
