Stafford Centre Commercial Development land to sell at auction starting Aug. 14
KERNERSVILLE, N.C., Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Four commercial tracts of land in the Stafford Centre Commercial Development in rapidly growing Kernersville are selling in an online auction, with Iron Horse Auction Company managing the event.
The location is midway between Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Bidding will begin August 14 and conclude on August 21.

The tracts include:

- 5.59 acres at 1480 Hampton Plaza Drive, zoned HB-S, with a current tax value of $996,000.
- 9.73 acres on Stafford Centre Drive, zoned HB-S, with a current tax value of $1,106,500.
- 5.33 acres at 1400 Hampton Plaza Drive, zoned LI-S, with a tax value of $118,000.
The tracts zoned HB-S would be suitable for a wide variety of uses, including a hotel, restaurant, office, bank branch or day care facility. "The 1.3-acre tract on Clayton Forest Road is already preapproved for use as a drive-through restaurant," said Lilly.
