NEW YORK, June 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) has expanded its comprehensive Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) program with the recent introduction of more than 40 new EVAP applications. The Standard^® EVAP program is the most complete in the industry with more than 1,200 part numbers, from the most popular Canister Purge Solenoids to several hard-to-find Canister Purge Hoses.

Many Standard^® EVAP components are manufactured in two of SMP's American facilities in Greenville, South Carolina and Independence, Kansas. Each component is precision-engineered and tested for durability and OE-matching performance. To ensure trouble-free operation, components must pass comprehensive quality tests, including computer-controlled bench testing for resistance, leakage, and response and flow rates, and undergo on-vehicle validation at Standard's Vehicle Testing Center in Irving, Texas.

Standard's EVAP program includes Canister Purge Valves and Solenoids, Canister Vent Valves and Solenoids, Fuel Vapor Canisters, Fuel Vapor Leak Detection Pumps, Vapor Canister Purge Pumps, Vapor Canister Purge Valve Hoses and Vent Hoses, and more. Recent introductions include multiple Vapor Canister Purge Valve Hoses and Vapor Canister Vent Hoses covering over three million Ford and Stellantis vehicles. New Canister Purge Solenoids cover an additional 4.5 million import and domestic vehicles, and Fuel Vapor Leak Detection Pumps are also new for Stellantis SUVs. More popular import vehicles are now covered in Standard's Fuel Vapor Canister and Canister Purge Valve categories.
