Star Micronics and Sudzy Team Up to Provide Turnkey iPad POS to Dry Cleaners

Sudzy POS provides many industry-specific features that allow dry cleaners to streamline processes and improve communication with their customers. Sudzy POS makes it easy to create and change orders with modifiers and detailed instructions for each individual garment, print garment tags, track orders, process payments with cash and credit cards, and alert customers when orders are ready for pickup —all activities, including sales volume, can be tracked in real time. A mobile app enables customers to place one-click orders directly from their phones and the drivers' pickup and delivery routes are optimized. The Star mPOP combines a small cash drawer and two-inch receipt printer in a sleek, space-saving design that is ideal for tight workspaces and low-cash businesses such as dry cleaners. The mPOP communicates via Bluetooth, and additional USB ports are neatly positioned in the back, offering quick and easy access for bar code scanners, tag printers and other peripherals. In addition, Star offers the heat- and humidity-resistant SP700 impact printer for tag printing, and drivers picking up laundry use the SM-S220i mobile printer to print laundry bag tags.
