WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- From October 17th to 19th, top Israeli elected officials, entertainers, and business leaders will join American policymakers and thought leaders to address the Second Annual National Israeli-American Conference. The nation's largest gathering of Israeli-Americans – hosted by the Israeli-American Council (IAC), the fastest growing Jewish organization in the United States – is expected to draw more than 1,000 participants to Washington DC to discuss the Iran Nuclear Deal, the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and other critical issues facing the United States, Israel, and the Jewish community.
This week, the IAC made public a list of highlighted speakers who will address the conference. Additional featured speakers at the conference will be announced in the coming weeks. For a complete list, visit http://iackenes.org/#speakers

"The Israeli-American Council has experienced phenomenal growth over the past two years, emerging as the national convener of the Israeli-American community," said IAC Chairman Shawn Evenhaim. "We are excited to bring the best and brightest from the U.S. and Israel together at this critical moment to strengthen bonds, address common challenges, and advance important conversations about pressing issues facing our community and our two nations, such as Iran and BDS."
Iran is expected to be a major focus of many speakers at the Conference, which will take place just weeks after a contentious Congressional debate on the subject. Dozens of sessions during the conference will explore the community's wide-ranging interests, such as Israeli-American and Jewish identity, pro-Israel advocacy, entrepreneurship, Israeli and Middle Eastern affairs, philanthropy, and Israeli culture.
