State Farm® Friday Night Feats Video Contest Closes Second Half with High School Football's Biggest Moments

BLOOMINGTON, Ill., Nov. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- State Farm today announced the second half winners of Friday Night Feats, a national video contest highlighting the biggest moments from this year's high school football season. Twenty-six winners from across North America were awarded $2,500 for their schools and now have a chance at the $15,000 first prize.

The videos that win $2,500 and advance to become "Finalist Nominees" of the fan-fueled football contest were determined by fan votes on FridayNightFeats.com during the second half of the contest from October 10 through Nov. 28th.

As the second half of Friday Night Feats comes to a close, State Farm will turn to its panel of judges to narrow the field of "Finalist Nominees" down to the top 10 videos based on the "wow" factor, athleticism, impact of the play, and creativity of the video. The panel includes MaxPreps football experts Stephen Spiewak, Steve Montoya, Andrew Puccioni, Chris Stonebraker, Blake McFarland, as well as SI Kids reporter Evan Trimas.   

Viewers have the final word, choosing the first, second, and third place winners by voting for their favorite Dec. 9 through Dec.16. The winners will be announced on Dec. 19. Cash prizes for the top videos are $15,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place and $5,000 for third place.
