ST. LOUIS, April 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has approved an interim plan for Peabody Energy's Twentymile Mine to resume longwall production, after the mine encountered unforeseen geologic conditions in early April. The plan is conditional on no further geologic difficulties in the affected area, and MSHA and the company will continue to monitor progress.
