In August 2010, Mr. Cozen joined the list of outside law firms helping BP to deal with the fallout from the Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Cozen will draft rules on distributing $20 billion in compensation funds to businesses and individuals affected by the disaster.
