CHICAGO, Feb. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sterling Trading Tech (STT) announced today it will provide its real-time risk solution, the Sterling Risk Engine (SRE) for portfolio margin and volatility shocks to TradingBlock, a complete online broker for active traders, investors and, investment professionals.
The SRE is a cloud-based engine that continuously calculates the OCC CPM, based on TIMS methodology for each account as well as a house CPM, with capability to also set specific house rules. STT's unique model solves an industry-wide issue of accurately calculating portfolio margin, risk shocks and Reg-T intraday for complex equities and options portfolios and eliminates the need for firms to deploy costly and expensive hardware to manage in-house software.
