Sterling's Executive Vice President Bob Trabucco Receives "CFO of The Year" Award
AKRON, Ohio, Oct. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sterling Jewelers Inc. announced today that Bob Trabucco, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, was recognized by Crain's Cleveland Business with the CFO of the Year Award in the "Medium-Sized Public Company, Retail Category."

Crain's CFO of the Year Awards honor top financial officers for their outstanding fiscal leadership and asset management. According to Crain's, "...emerging from the deepest recession in a generation, recommendations from today's chief financial executives have taken on greater weight in corporate strategy and direction." Nominations were judged by an independent panel of financial professionals. Consideration was given to the CFO's contributions to their company's overall growth, commitment to good ethics, effective reporting and involvement in the community.
Bob joined Akron-based Sterling Jewelers Inc. in 2003 and his areas of responsibility include finance and treasury, taxes, legal and compliance, loss prevention, credit operations and recovery services.
