Steve Perkins Joins Accuvant as Director of Strategic Alliance Services

DENVER, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Accuvant, the only research-driven information security partner delivering alignment, clarity and confidence to enterprise clients, announced today that Steve Perkins has been appointed director of Strategic Alliance Services. This new group is focused on building custom, outsourced programs that solve go-to-market challenges for organizations with professional services needs, including technology manufacturers, systems integrators, prime contractors, distributors and other resellers and consulting firms.

Perkins, who has more than 25 years of IT sales and business development experience, joins Accuvant from Aruba Networks, a global leader in distributed enterprise networks, where he served as general manager of remote networking.

Before joining Accuvant, Perkins worked for six years at Aruba Networks in various sales management and business development roles. Prior to Aruba, Perkins served as chief executive officer for Kiko, an online education company that he founded in 1999. Perkins has also held sales management and corporate strategy positions for Cisco, Hewlett Packard and 3M. Perkins holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Southern California and continued graduate studies at the University of Cambridge in England.
