NEW YORK, Nov. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Stonestreet Studios (www.stonestreet.net) co-founders/owners, Alyssa Rallo Bennett and Gary O. Bennett, today announced the completion of Videola (Trailer #1) (Trailer Rising Sun) a new pilot starring actress Sean Young, which is now being presented to the industry for wider distribution.
Written and created by Gary O. Bennett, directed by Alyssa Rallo Bennett, with original music by Kevin Kendrick (A Big Yes & A Little No), Videola is a mystery thriller; the Moody family seems to be missing one of their twin sisters, which starts to unearth unresolved tragedies from their past.
"This story is about a grisly secret that haunts a family, driving it further into lies and deception, and disturbing everyone's sense of identity; but when one of the twins goes missing things start to unhinge," said Gary O. Bennett.
Videola stars Sean Young (Blade Runner, Dune, Ace Ventura, Wall Street, Stripes) who plays the mother of three, co-stars Michael Pemberton (Bridge of Spies, The Affair, Veep), Janet Zarish (Blue Bloods, Forever, Law & Order, One Life to Live), Gil Zabarsky (Teacher of the Year , Tenured, The Four-Faced Liar) and introduces newcomer Samantha Rothermel, who plays the missing sister and her twin.
"Sean Young gives a delightfully twisted and psychologically rich performance. Her work is deep and mature," said director Alyssa Rallo Bennett.
"Gil Zabarsky as the dark soul who is burdened with the family's secrets is inventive and oddly funny. His multi-dimensional performance is constantly surprising," added Ms. Bennett.
