Stormwater Conference, StormCon, Headed To Seattle, WA

SEATTLE, Sept. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The nation's largest stormwater convention, StormCon, will be in Seattle, Washington next year from August 27-31. The StormCon conference and exposition has gained in popularity each year. Most recently, the convention was held in Indianapolis and co-located with WasteCon another public works event. Aside from sharing and learning about new stormwater management techniques, StormCon is an opportunity for stormwater manufacturers and surface water quality professionals to hear what regulatory agencies are doing. Managers for various cities, counties and states throughout the country have a much better understanding of the needs and challenges of stormwater as a result of this event.

Year in and year out, stormwater management is one of the key topics at StormCon. Every single state in the country is adopting stricter stormwater guidelines with additional emphasis to treat rain as a valuable resource.
