New St. Clair West location opens October 13, with an official Grand Opening celebration planned for October 30
TORONTO, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Almost exactly one year after opening its first Canadian studio in Toronto, Stretch Zone is continuing its Canadian expansion with the opening of its newest location at 64 Vaughan Road in Toronto's St. Clair West community.
The St. Clair West studio will begin welcoming members on October 13, followed by an official Grand Opening celebration on October 30.
Stretch Zone Canada opened its first studio in Toronto in October 2025, introducing the company's practitioner-assisted stretching method to the Canadian market. Since then, the Canadian team has expanded to three Toronto-area studios, built a growing member base and completed thousands of practitioner-assisted stretching sessions.
The St. Clair West opening represents another step in a broader plan to build Stretch Zone throughout the Greater Toronto Area and, over time, into additional Canadian markets.
"We opened our first Canadian studio almost exactly a year ago, so there's something particularly exciting about opening St. Clair West at this point in our journey," said Joe Korman, Owner/Partner, Stretch Zone Canada. "Over that first year, we've learned a tremendous amount from our members, our practitioners and the communities we serve. We're bringing that experience into St. Clair West from day one while continuing to build for what we believe can become a much larger Canadian presence."
New Research Supports the Stretch Zone Method
The opening also follows the release of The Stretch Zone Effect, an industry-first research study published in the Journal of Musculoskeletal Disorders and Treatment.
The research found measurable improvements across several areas of mobility and quality of life, with 85% of participants improving range of motion, 78% reporting a reduction in pain, 66% reporting higher energy and reduced fatigue, 58% reporting better sleep, and 61% experiencing increased ease with everyday activities. The study also found that participants who engaged with the program more frequently experienced greater gains in flexibility, reinforcing the importance of consistency.
"For us, the research adds another dimension to what we've been seeing firsthand in our studios," said Korman. "We now have a year of Canadian operating experience, thousands of stretches completed and a growing community of members. Having research demonstrating measurable outcomes gives us an even stronger foundation as we introduce Stretch Zone to more Canadians."
A Personalized Approach to Mobility
Stretch Zone provides one-on-one practitioner-assisted stretching using its proprietary methodology, specialized stretching tables and patented strapping system.
During each session, a trained practitioner positions and stabilizes the body while guiding the member through controlled stretches designed to support flexibility, mobility and range of motion.
Sessions are available in 30- and 60-minute formats and are personalized to the individual.
Building Stretch Zone in Canada
The St. Clair West studio is the third Toronto-area Stretch Zone location and the latest step in the Canadian ownership group's broader expansion plans.
As Stretch Zone Canada grows, the team is developing relationships across health, sport and recreation, including Parkinson Canada, PicklePlex and local golf and simulator facilities.
Through Parkinson Canada, Stretch Zone Canada is participating in CareFinder and developing education and complimentary demonstration opportunities for people living with Parkinson's and their care partners.
"Over the past year, our Canadian team has done an outstanding job introducing Stretch Zone to the Toronto market and building a strong foundation for the brand in Canada," said Jordan Levine, President and COO of Stretch Zone. "They've built a growing member community, developed a strong local team and established meaningful relationships within the communities they serve. The opening of St. Clair West is another exciting milestone, and we're proud of what the team has accomplished as they continue building Stretch Zone across Toronto and Canada."
Stretch Zone currently has more than 430 locations across the United States and Canada. Residents are invited to visit the new St. Clair studio, meet the team and experience the Stretch Zone Method through a complimentary introductory stretch.
